The event was a fantastic celebration of the best of the Maritime Industry.
Congratulations to Low Carbon Eco-Innovatory who were the eventual winners of the Environmental Impact award for which we were shortlisted along with Cammell Laird.
Through collaborative partnerships between local companies in the Liverpool City Region and universities (Liverpool John Moores University, University of Liverpool and Lancaster University), Carbon Eco-Innovatory creates innovative low carbon goods, processes and services. They help identify opportunities for low carbon development to bring about economic and environmental benefits to the business and wider community.
We are excited to announce that we are finalists in the Mersey Maritime Industry Awards 2020 for Environmental Impact.
We have been shortlisted for our work to reduce the impact our industry has on the environment, especially if print isn’t managed effectively.
These are high profile awards, both within our region and also nationally in the maritime sector. The other finalists in the category are Cammell Laird and University of Liverpool/Liverpool John Moores University.
Our initiatives that impressed the judging panel include:
- free consumables recycling for our customers
- the launch of our Treemendous Print & Plant project
- adopting business inkjet technology with all its environmental benefits.
If you’d like more information on any of these please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Steve Lowndes, our Group Sales Director, explains more in our Finalist video.
