Sharples Group Finalists in Mersey Maritime Industry Awards 2020

It has been announced that Sharples Group are finalists in the Mersey Maritime Industry Awards 2020 (MMIA20) for Environmental Impact.

The Mersey Maritime Industry Awards 2020 took place at St George’s Hall, Liverpool on Friday 6th March 2020.

The event was a fantastic celebration of the best of the Maritime Industry.

Congratulations to Low Carbon Eco-Innovatory who were the eventual winners of the Environmental Impact award for which we were shortlisted along with Cammell Laird.

Through collaborative partnerships between local companies in the Liverpool City Region and universities (Liverpool John Moores University, University of Liverpool and Lancaster University), Carbon Eco-Innovatory creates innovative low carbon goods, processes and services. They help identify opportunities for low carbon development to bring about economic and environmental benefits to the business and wider community.

We are excited to announce that we are finalists in the Mersey Maritime Industry Awards 2020 for Environmental Impact.

We have been shortlisted for our work to reduce the impact our industry has on the environment, especially if print isn’t managed effectively.

These are high profile awards, both within our region and also nationally in the maritime sector. The other finalists in the category are Cammell Laird and University of Liverpool/Liverpool John Moores University.
